Founder
Ana Carolina Salomão
A Brazilian lawyer with degrees from USP, the London School of Economics (LSE) and INSEAD, Ana built her career at the intersection of law, finance and impact. She previously served as Partner and Head of Litigation Finance at Pogust Goodhead, where she led the structuring and fundraising of more than £700 million to support some of the world's largest environmental, human rights and collective actions across multiple jurisdictions.
Through Montgomery, she advises investors, law firms and asset managers on fundraising, portfolio finance, law firm lending, co‑investments and complex legal assets. She is also an active advocate for access to justice, having written and spoken extensively on the role of private capital in financing large‑scale litigation and overcoming structural barriers that prevent individuals and communities from enforcing their rights.
Beyond finance, Ana is the founder of Fondation Montgomery, a philanthropic initiative supporting education, cultural exchange and social impact projects between Brazil and Europe.

Gabriel Silva
Gabriel Silva is a Brazilian and New York-qualified attorney specializing in international disputes and complex cross-border matters.
With experience at top-tier firms in New York, London, and São Paulo, he has advised global clients on arbitration, litigation, investigations, and business-critical disputes across multiple jurisdictions.
Gabriel holds an LL.M. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where he also earned a Wharton Business and Law Certificate, and previously studied at the University of São Paulo and Erasmus University Rotterdam.
Manuela Machado
Manuela Machado is a Brazilian legal researcher and international disputes professional with experience in large‑scale cross‑border litigation involving environmental harm, human rights violations, and corporate accountability.
She has worked on some of the most significant transnational disputes involving Brazilian claimants and multinational corporations, supporting case development, claimant engagement, legal strategy, and operational coordination across jurisdictions.
A graduate of IBMEC Rio de Janeiro, Manuela conducted research in Public International Law at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC‑Rio) and at the Middle East Studies Laboratory (LEOM) of the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB). Currently she serves as Coordinator of the Chuva de Prata case, where she leads the legal, operational, and strategic development of the project alongside international counsel, experts, and institutional partners.
